Bursa Technical University’s Research Office attended the 4th Research Deans’ Workshop, hosted by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in Çanakkale. The workshop brought together senior research leaders from universities across Türkiye to discuss inter-institutional collaboration, the strengthening of the national research and innovation ecosystem, and shared strategic priorities for the coming period.

BTÜ was represented by Associate Professor Dr Furkan Türker Sarıcaoğlu, Dean of Research, together with Associate Professor Dr Fatma Nur Parın and Dr Ahmet Münir Özdemir, Vice Deans of Research. Discussions focused on enhancing institutional research capacity, access to competitive funding, interdisciplinary research, university–industry collaboration, and international engagement.

The exchanges and examples of good practice shared during the workshop are expected to inform institutional research policies and support the development of new collaborations. Bursa Technical University remains committed to increasing research excellence and to playing an active role in national and international research networks.
